Thank You!!!
Thank you to the volunteers who helped make this happen. Barry Avery, the rock star of volunteering. Tinker Murphy, for helping with the care packets. Cheryl Marino, for showing up and getting it done. Michael Merritt, the videographer, can't wait to see how it comes out! Thank you to the web mistress, Laurel Hoskins, so much help! And to Rich Pomerantz, for the generous donation of the personal photo consultation and for the photos. Thank you to David Corrigan and Ken Johnson from NINA. Without them we wouldn't have an event. Thanks guys, for all the nitty gritty that no one sees! And thank for the delicious food!! Thank you to the board of APLD, for their personal participation, and for the grand prize money of $500. Thank you to the judges for the difficult task of choosing from such excellent gardens; State Treasurer Denise Nappier; First Gentleman of Hartford, Charlie Ortiz; Debbie Roberts, member APLD; and Mary Ellen Pirozzolli, member APLD. You made my job as judge very easy. Thank you to my family, for being patient with me while putting this together. This event isn't over, it is just beginning to bring real change to Hartford.
